28th June Ryann's class

Today we learned about the letter Z. Teacher Russell was on leave and thus teacher Diane took over. She had this very deep accent which i am really not used to it. Was enduring through out the class. =p Not that i have perfect english but it was really a strong accent and half of the time i am trying to figure out what she is trying to say.



Ryann was pretty responsive to the songs we sing and he was walking around the room and 'high five' with almost every one. I felt like crying when i saw that! Haha. You can call me emo but it was really happy tears to see Ryann interacting with others. He taps along with the teachers at times and was enjoying himself.



Things will never be the same when it is zoo bag time. We introduced zebra, zoo and zig zag but Ryann was interested with none. He only got involved when we were walking on the zig zag lines. However it was a total different reaction when he saw the flash cards out. He was able to do many movements and made quite a few phonics sounds. He managed to show me 2 new actions - L and O. His P action is getting more obvious then before. Hopefully he will show more response on his speech.



They introduced the traffic light game to teach fast, slow and stop. For project they did the traffic light cookie. Nutella was applied by me and Ryann placed the m&m on the cookie. It went right into mummie's tummy. =p

Today's class was very chaotic. half of the time the teachers were busying trying to discipline the kids to sit down. Most of them especially Ryann were running everywhere. Thank God for the teacher's patience.

p/s: Brought a sesame street finger paint set that came with apron.
