22th Sept Which Child care is good in punggol?

Went to Apple tree this morning only to know that they only accept registration for children born in the year of 2006. Ryann is too small for the classes.

Now i can only source for child care centres in punggol. I shortlisted a few centres after reading some feed backs:

  1. Learning Vision Blk 128 or Blk 201
  2. SunShine Kids Blk 101B
  3. BrightKids Blk 173 or Blk 175 or Blk 192
  4. KiddyABC Blk176
  5. Qdees
  • Heard positive and negative remarks of all. Now i am really quite lost. Sis was telling me that Learning Vision at 201 received alot of complains. Not sure about 128 thou. I went to Sunshine Kids but the school seems quite messy. The doors were closed so i couldn't really see what is going on inside thou the biggest benefit is of cos the distance. It is just next to my block. I have not been to BrightKids, kiddyABC and Qdees. Mummy said i am so kiasu. But i have no choice. The waiting list at almost all the childcare centres in punggol is so long that some centres need to wait for 1 year before the child can get a space. If i don't do my homework now, I doubt Ryann can get into any classes for exposure.

  • I am either signing for GUG or Trio for Sunday classes. Need to understand more about GUG's curriculum. Sister said it is too young for Ryann to go for classes but i think otherwise. Unlike sis who have 2 weekends off and the whole of evening to teach Rhys as she finish earlier then me, sad to say i do not have the luxury to be able to teach Ryann as much as i wanted to. On good days which is rare, i can leave work at 6.30pm and reach home by 7.30 - 8pm. Most of the times i only leave my work place at 7.30pm. By the time i reach mum's place will be 8.30 - 9pm. Ryann's concentration level is at his lowest at that time because he is already tired and there is too many distraction at mum's place. I have to work on every sat too. My only time with Ryann is on Sunday but once a week is definitely not enough. Plus this super hyper active boy will not sit still to listen to mummy sing or read a book. If i can find another job with better working hours with comparable salary i will really consider moving on.

  • Ryann is walking more steadily with the push walker. When go unassisted, he still refuse to stand on his own. Just plain lazy as i have seen Ryann standing unassisted before.

  • Today tried to do flash cards with Ryann but Ryann just couldn't concentrate. He is in his playful mood today. Every flash card i flashed, he would want to snatch them from me. The memory test failed today. But never mind. At least i tried. Today also manage to do about 10 DIY flash cards.

  • Today is the first day I officially cut to 3 pumps a day. Not very positive milk supply but still sufficient for Ryann. It certainly cut my load away but however days whereby i have meetings and trainings i will still need to pump 4 times as i can only pump during lunch hour. Jia you!

  • Hubby ask me this question today. Choose from a better functional hand phone (Been complaining about my lagging N73) or a better digital camera (Been complaining about my lousy 5 mega pixel camera and my all words blog is so boring.) AND NEVER talk about buying a better Branded bag (Been bugging him for my damier canvas Neverfull from Japan! )
