Ryann is 20 months already. Time flies. Another 4 more months, Ryann will be 2 years old. Till date he hasn't even speak a word yet. Not even pa pa or ma ma. I know some kids do speak at a slightly later age but i just cant help but feel worried about his speech.
Every thing else are just fine. He is starting to show results from his GUG classes. He is able to do the actions for the letter A,D,E and H. He will know how to make the phonics sound of the letter H,M and S.
Today, he made an amazing improvement in school, he no longer cries before his class. This time round he ran into the class room without even looking back. I am glad he finally learned to be independent at playgroup. It took us quite some time for him to settle into his school.

He insisted on carrying his school bag and attempted to open the door himself so that he can go out. I wonder if he really like school so much as this photo was taken in the evening around 7.45pm.
I am enjoying every single day of his growth although there were lots of frustrations as well since he always have a mind of his own. =( And i thank God for his blessing on Ryann.

Don't worry lah ... Ryann's "gor gor", Jordan, also not talking yet. He only calls ma-ma, dad-dad, jie-jie and nai nai ... he doesn't even say "bao bao" or "mum mum".
Anyway, Ryann seems to display more learning than Jordan. My lazy boy is simply not interested to learn lor. Sigh!

For Ryann is almost nothing except for his 'mum mum' which he will also say 'mum mum' when he wants to open something. And his phonics lor....
Ryann only show interest with flash cards and some selected big books. He will simply ignore me when i show him things that doesn't interest him at all. I can try calling his name for numerous times but also no response. *faintz
Hahaha, same same ... when he's not interested, no matter how many times I call him or nudge him, he simply bo chup me!
But well, they each have their own strengths lah.
What makes me happy is that Jordan always take the box which we keep the Holy Communion biscuits and wanted me to open. When I give him the biscuit, he will raise his hand and say "ek" ... so he knows how to say "Amen" in his way (after praying we always say "Amen" and at the same time raise his hand ... so he learnt and now does it on his own).
