28th Mar What a week we had

We finally understand why his appetite got worse recently. Irritating ulcers and cold sores. Rashes all over the body. He literally went without food or milk on Thursday. Seen GP for twice, PD once and last resort to KKH as advised by Dr Tan.

At KKH, the doctor tried to look at the back of his throat and i saw 2 huge ulcers on his tonsils. No wonder he doesn't want to eat or drink. It must be so painful. Feel so heart pain. Sometimes i really wonder if my breast milk was beneficial for him at all although Dr Tan joked that if i didn't breastfeed him, it could have been worse.

Thanks to all my friends who prayed for Ryann's recovery. He is starting to take some milk again. Not porridge yet but at least he is taking his milk. Hopefully his appetite will go back to normal soon.

For the past few days, i didn't really sleep much at all as i need to keep myself awake for his medicine feeding at 2.30am. There was once when i was really too tired and i missed one of the feed at 6am. I was practically a zombie during training. Luckily my trainees for this week are all the male trainers who already have much knowledge to begin with so it was not a tough job. Only problem i had was i cant play the usual games as i bet they would find them childish. Huge muscles man playing girlish games... what an ugly sight. =p

Just some updates about Ryann
  • Ryann is able to recognise most of the pictures on the huge poster i recently brought in less then 5 days.
  • Ryann is able to point to more then 15 animals on the animal flash card book.
  • Ryann is able to identify the fish and monkey on the play mat.
  • Ryann seems to have outgrown his crocs already. That makes his number 6 pairs of shoes.
  • Ryann loves looking through a roll up poster or throw something through it.
