11th Oct Women's Day out at Ngee Ann City

Was on duty at Ngee Ann city today. Extremely hot and tired. Stand almost the whole day from 8.30am - 8.30pm. Still enjoyed myself thou although overall sales wasn't that good. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Will be bringing Ryann to ngee ann city to support my team mates.

By the time i reach home already almost 9pm. Took a shower first because i am all smelly and sticky. Hubby also left office late today and was real tired too. we had our dinner first at the coffee shop. was eating ban mian

Halfway thru eating, i felt some thing hard. Thinking that it might be just the ikan bilis. I tried to chew. I felt something sharp then i tried to take it out. Guess what, it is a piece of wood chip. those furniture which is old and surface start to peel off that kind of wood. I was really angry. What if i cut my tongue?

I took the whole tray over and told the auntie:"Auntie, Do you know i found a pc of wood chip in your mee? " THe answer was:"NOT MY PROBLEM HOR, IT IS FROM THE IKAN BILIS. IT IS PACK INSIDE ONE." She never even bother to apologize.

I told her:"So it is my fault and i am just plain unlucky that there is a pc of wooden plank in my mee la."

She said:"it is all pack inside, not my problem. got once i even found a metal nail inside." I was extremely shocked to hear that. IS she trying to tell me that i am lucky to have just found a pc of small wood.

I even told her:"So you mean i should complain to your supplier for you la. You didn't even bother to apologize on behalf of the company. WHAT IF I CUT MY TONGUE?"

She raised her voice and said: "IT IS NOT MY FAULT, i really dunno. I never say i dun wan to say sorry. the most of refund you lor"

I am totally pissed with her. got back my refund and left with an empty stomach. Through out the conversation, she raised her voice at me and never even apologize. Not even once.

Qiu lian ban mian is bann from my food list as i really dunno what i find the next time. Can you imagine if it is a small kid who is eating and they might not be able to take it out on time? What will happen?

Whole day at the roadshow was so busy didn't have time to eat anything. Only manage to eat old chang kee nuggets. I was so hungry then and yet this thing happen.

Once i reach mum's place, all my anger was gone. Because i caught a sight so sweet and comforting.

While waiting for us to be back, Ryann fell asleep on the playmat. So cute lor. Make me feel like hugging him. Seeing him sleeping so soundly, i didn't want to wake him up but have to as we need to walk back home. The feeling is like you are back from working feeling tired but once u reach home, your love ones is waiting for you at the sofa but he fallen asleep. I dunno how to describe that kind of feeling. It is just very sweet lor.
