20th Feb Kiddy ABC visit

Today i went to the playgroup class to view the place and also sign some forms for the registration of the class.

It was a small class of 7 and the class was inside a small room playing with toys. I didnt really see how the class was being held as by the time i was there, the children were just playing with toys given by the asst teacher.

When i asked about the class curriculum, the teacher just mention things like using blocks to teach colours,numbers and shapes. They will also have some simple activities like foot or hand painting. Some crayon art at times. I didnt hear her mention about songs etc.

To be frank, i wasnt very much impressed with the class but was thinking of just letting him try out first.

They allowed Ryann to go into the class thus he went in on his own with us viewing from outside. He didnt cry at all, in fact he was pretty happy in the class, running up and down, playing with the toys provided. The kids in the class are 1 year elder then Ryann. All of them seems very much surprise with a new additional and were all crowding around Ryann. One girl even hugged Ryann so tightly that they fell down. (The asst teacher didnt even see that. =( )Overall, i think Ryann enjoyed being with small kids but i am not sure what will happen when he realized that we are not around anymore.

I was thinking of exploring the other playgroup Talentplus to view how they conduct the class. Hopefully can start Ryann in March.
